Wyberton Primary Academy

Reception 2020 New Starters

Welcome To The New Hedgehogs of 2020

Dear Parents and Carers,

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on choosing Wyberton Primary Academy. In our school, the staff and governors work hard to create a setting where children and their families feel safe and part of a community. Don’t worry, your children are in safe, dedicated, and experienced hands.

My name is Mrs Emma Taylor and I am going to be your child’s teacher for their first year at big school. I understand how daunting that can be. I am here to make this journey as easy and enjoyable as it can be for not only your child but for you as well.

I have worked as a teacher for over 15 years – 12 of which have been at Wyberton Primary Academy working to build the setting into what it is today. I try to adhere to a simple philosophy of making learning as creative and fun as possible so that the children, hopefully, can’t wait to come through the door in the morning.

At Wyberton, we treat each child as an individual, their progress is closely monitored and their learning is tailored to their needs to try to ensure we instil in them a love of learning.
