After reading 'The Pumpkin Soup' in class, we were inspired to create our own healthy soup. The children practised their knife cutting skills as they prepared the onion and butternut squash and they were able to describe the different textures as the vegetable textures changed as we cooked. 

 

 

It was great to see their reactions as they smelt the finished soup.
