The decodable sentences for lesson 49 will support this learning - listen to your child read them and then encourage them to write the sentences in that space underneath each one.

Understanding the World

We are going to be travelling in our pirate ship to 'snowy lands' this week. We will learn a little about how the Arctic and the Antarctic are similar or different to Wyberton and we will be trying to paint Arctic/Antarctic animals in the style of Edward Tinga Tinga but only using cool colours (such as  blues, purples and greys).
