Here are our finished natural disaster survival guides - Year 6 have produced some stunning work, sharing their understanding learned from our Topic lessons.

 

Year 6 have had a busy afternoon comparing tornadoes around the world, including the UK and North America. We have studied data, explored the different categories of tornadoes, examined different countries and summarised our learning.

 

After role-playing the growth of hurricanes, Year 6 applied their understanding to write from the viewpoint of these natural disasters. Excellent work, Year 6 - these show your geographical understanding brilliantly!

 

 

 

Our new topic launched today with the children posing their own questions of what they would like to discover. Keep an eye out for our learning over the term which will answer these questions!
