Remote Learning

Interacting with me during remote learning

During this lockdown, we want to make sure we stay in touch with you all and can support you with your learning as much as possible. We would like to invite you to book a 10 minute weekly catch up with your teacher via a video call known as 'Bookings'. This will give your child a chance to talk about their learning, share successes, and discuss any problems they have faced that week. It allows us as teachers to give feedback and if needed we can create further videos or resources to help you further. Teachers will be available at 2-3 pm daily.

Please visit the link below that will take you to a webpage. Here you can select your class teacher from a list and a day and time that suits you and your family. This will send you an email confirmation with a link that you can use at the time of your appointment to join the video call.

Please watch the video in the Video Resource Centre (see link below) where this is explained more.

Storytime with your teacher

Every Wednesday at 11:30 am, class teachers will be reading to their class. Keyworker children will join in with this within the classroom and we would like all our remote learners to join via a Teams video call link.

All you need to do to join this, please make sure I have your email address. You can do this by sending me a message on the contact us section of our class pages. I will send you an email with a link to join at the time of the story.

This will be a fantastic way for all the children to catch up and interact altogether. Parents of siblings may want to take it turns to join in with the stories each week.
