Hello Year 6! Here is your suggested timetable for this week - if they are light blue, that means that you can click on them and it should take you to a video in the Video Resource Centre.
Please continue to send me lots of work - you worked exceptionally hard last week and produced some fantastic learning at home. Please also remember to book in a 1:1 catch up with me by clicking here and remember to join our story time on Wednesday at 11:30am.

Maths

Arithmetic – please complete the Arithmetic quiz, writing the calculations in your grey Maths book. There is a video in the Video Resource Centre discussing some of today's questions. The answers are on the last page for you to mark your work afterwards – Q28 is 2/10 or 1/5 (if you simplify it).
Spelling
This week’s spellings are based on words from the Year 5 & 6 list. Please complete one activity each day, remembering to write any written work in your yellow book. The assignment is also on Spelling Shed.
English
In English, we are continuing to explore the exciting historical story ‘Letters from the Lighthouse.’ This week you will be planning your own next parts of the story, deciding on what happens with Olive, Cliff and Sukie. I can’t wait to read your ideas! I have recorded a video for the English lessons this week in the Video Resource Centre and any relevant resources for each lesson are below.

Reading
Completing any type of reading activity (including joining the class story time every Wednesday at 11:30am) will give you a raffle ticket in our Reading challenge. Please send me photographs of your work.

Reading 1: complete p6-7 of your KS2 English Comprehension book. A video is included in the Video Resource Centre to help discuss this text. Answers are below for you to mark your work afterwards.

Your SPaG this week is exploring speech punctuation. Please complete p56-57 in your KS2 English Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling book. The answers are on p108 for you to mark afterwards.
There is also another speech punctuation activity below for you to complete in the week – please complete this in your yellow book.
History
This week’s History lesson is focusing on Judaism during World War Two. Please look at the Video Resource Centre for a video of Mr Hawkins talking through this lesson and the activity.
P.S.H.E
Our P.S.H.E lesson is continuing our learning on discrimination. Go through the information below to recap different types of discrimination, then look at the activity (there are two sheets - make sure you complete the first one, then if you get time please go onto the second). Complete this in your yellow book.
