Today the children finished off our 'apple week' by making their own apple crumble! They chopped the apples, coated them in sugar, added crumble topping and waited patiently for them to bake. The children learned so many safety skills doing this as well as lots of life skills - developing their knowledge of where their food comes from, using sharp knives, feeding themselves...well done Hedgehogs
