Our topic in Science this term is Living Things and Their Habitats. This week, we are going to be classifying invertebrates by hunting for some in our gardens and local area! If it is not possible for you to do this, perhaps you could draw and label some different invertebrate or do some research about them?

Another opportunity for learning

An exciting link has been shared with us by one of our special Badger families. Every Friday, the National Aquarium are hosting live shows on their Youtube channel. The show on Friday 22nd was called, ‘Deep Science’. It links perfectly to our Science topic as they are sharing some of their amazing animals and exploring the science behind the animated ocean exploration tv series ‘The Deep’ (CBBC @12pm on weekdays during lockdown). Expect fascinating facts and real time experiments, as well as ideas to follow up with at home (curriculum linked of course!)
