Hello Owl class,

 

Thank you all for an amazing first day back on Monday. Unfortunately, we all need to be stay at home superheroes again to keep us all safe. I will miss you all whilst you are at home but I am still here for you if you need anything. Please don't forget that you are all AMAZING! Throughout terms 1 and 2 you impressed all of the adults in our class with how amazing you are - you have made some brilliant progress and you should be very proud of yourselves.  

 

Over the next few weeks our learning is going to be online but we will have lots of opportunities to catch up and look at your work together. Each week I will post your timetable for the week ahead and the resources you will need for each lesson. Please keep a look out for videos in the resource centre that will help you with your learning. https://wyberton-primary-academy.primarysite.media/

Some of your lessons will be completed in your CGP books and others will be completed in the exercise books in your learning packs. There is no need to print out sheets just write the date and learning objective in your books and record your work in there.

Interacting with me during remote learning

During this lockdown we want to make sure we stay in touch with you all and can support you with your learning as much as possible. We would like to invite you to book a 10 minute weekly catch up with your teacher via a video call known as 'Bookings'. This will give your child chance to talk about their learning, share successes and discuss any problems they have faced that week. It allows us as teachers to give feedback and if needed we can create further videos or resources to help you further. Teachers will be available 2-3pm daily.

Please visit the link below that will take you to a webpage. Here you can select your class teacher from a list and a day and time that suits you and your family. This will send you a email confirmation with a link that you can use at the time of your appointment to join the video call.

Story time with your teacher

On Wednesdays each week at 11:30am, class teachers will be reading to their class. Key worker children will join in with this within the classroom and we would like all our remote learners to join via a Teams video call link. 

All you need to do to join this is make sure your teacher has your email address. You can do this my sending them a message on the contact us section of our class pages. Your class teacher will send you an email with a link to join at the time of the story. 

This will be a fantastic way for all the children to catch up and interact all together.
