Welcome back! We are in the final term of the academic year and there are lots of exciting things planned for this term including: a sports trip, sports day, father's day event, the making of a lightbox and more! 

Our Enquiry this term has a Science drive and is 'How dark are the shadows?'. The focus of this Enquiry is on light and as with every other term, will be linked cross curricular with English, DT and more! 

Sports trip

We went to Boston United Football Stadium. We learnt some new football skills and techniques and had a personal tour of the stadium! We had lots of fun and it was great to learn more about the club and its significance within our community! We also got to meet some special guests including Aston Villa’s and England’s U16 goalkeeper. 

English 

In English we are learning about the features of a playscript so that we can write our own based on the book 'Black Rabbit'. We will dedicate time at the end of the sequence to performing our plays using the playscripts we have published. 

Today marked the beginning of our exploration of playscripts. We were all very excited as we were exposed to a playscript based on 'Jack on the Beanstalk'. We showed great unity as we worked in groups to practise our parts ready to perform to the class!
