This week our end goal is to complete a descriptive paragraph to describe Yossi Ghinsberg's dangerous adventure through the Amazon Rainforest. Complete the senses grid below as a planning frame and then write your descriptive paragraph remembering to include:
- fronted adverbials;
- simple, compound and complex sentences;
- prepositional phrases;
- a range of conjunctions.

Topic
In class, we will be exploring the properties of materials linked to their ability to absorb water or let water pass through. You can test this at home by using a mug and placing different materials over the top - which ones let water through and which are waterproof? Use the image below and questions to support your investigation.
