Science-Electricity

In Science this term, we have been able to retrieve learning from Year 4 about electricity. We recalled the electrical component symbols and used this knowledge to analyse circuits to identify if they would work or not. 

Forest School

In Forest School, we have looked at the artwork of James Brunt and replicated some ideas around tree trunks. The children took their time to develop their beautiful interpretations.

P.E-Gymnastics

We took our first P.E. lesson outside, as we demonstrated our understanding of symmetrical and asymmetrical shapes using our bodies.

PSHE- Valuing Differences

This term, we have revisited the protected characteristics and how everyone is different in so many ways. We have thought about situations from different perspectives and learnt about bystander behaviour.

Computing-Mastering Algorithms

In our first lesson, we have used our learning in Computing to fully understand Google Maps and how computer use algorithms to find the most efficient route.
