Welcome to Little Oaks Nursery

The Little Oaks Nursery team consists of Chelsea, Lucy and Beth, with Mrs Taylor as our Foundation Stage Leader.

Our remote learning will be put onto Tapestry and updated every week with our current planning. Our topic this term is 'fairytales', we will be listening to classic traditional stories and engaging in role-play based around the stories we enjoy. We will also be uploading phonics activities onto Tapestry too, as well as school readiness activities..

We have been very busy enjoying some baking as part of our business and enterprise curriculum! Our Little Oaks helped to bake Chirstmas biscuits for all of the orders we had coming in from the Wyberton Brochure. The children got so excited when they saw their biscuits in the brochure and took it home to show their parents. We learnt how to weigh out our ingredients and what we needed to decorate our biscuits. They looked fantastic!!

Term 1 - All about me! 
We have been very busy getting to know each other during our first few weeks at Little Oaks. We have been learning about our body and identifying things that make us different. We have been enjoying lots of different activities including creating ourselves using different materials, drawing around each other and using mirrors to talk about our facial features. We will continue to get to know our friends and the adults around school as well as our likes and dislikes!
