This term we will be learning all about our wonderful world and delving into why it is such a wonderful place. We cannot wait to share it all with you.

Maths

This term we have been learning all about the value and importance of money. So far, we have looked at the coins and notes and how to calculate amounts.

PSHE

So far this term we have learnt about how to keep ourselves safe around medicines. We looked at Harolds story and identified solutions to different scenarios to keep us safe.

PE

This term's PE is Tri-Golf and dance. Last week children learnt about how to successfully use a golf club to hit a ball in a certain direction. Children were tasked with thinking about the power of their hits by trying to get the ball to stay in the hoop.

Music

This term in music we have been learning bout music linked to myths and legends such as the Lochness Monster and the Giant's Causeway. Children have learnt about chants and how to use beats of 8 to tap to the beat.

Computing

This term in computing we are learning all about how to take an effective photo. Children have explored the rule of thirds and how a photographer can use them to help take a good photo. We have also looked at how to save and categorise photos using folders.
