Welcome to Spring Term 2. We hope that everyone has had a lovely half term! We have lots of exciting learning that we cannot wait to share with you this term. We are excited to share all of our learning with you.

Our Enquiry question this term is: Which Queen had the greatest impact? We will be looking into the lives of Queen Elizabeth 1st and Queen Elizabeth 2nd and finding out their legacy.

Please find attached our Enquiry mat along with our class newsletter. These will provide you with an overview of our learning.

Science

This term in science we have been learning all about habitats. This week, we explored microhabitats around our school and identified the minibeasts that would live in them.

Writing

In writing this term, we are learning about postcards. So far, we have looked at the most important features. We have also worked on a plan so that we can write a post card about all the amazing things we did on World Book Day.

World Book Day

The Kingfishers have had an amazing day! They came dressed up as their favourite book character, we explored different books and created our own characters. We also went on a scavenger hunt and shared our books with year 5!

PE

This term we have been learning about gymnastics. We have looked at different positions and ways we can travel safely.
